This is the second album of the Underground Arrows.
It was supposed to be released in 1989 but for some reason, it didn't make it.
Though most of the songs were released on different compilations in the past, this work never came out as a whole.
with this album the Underground Arrows reached their maturity in terms of song writing and playing as a band and in a way, this album draws a line with the past and their Mod years and clearly shows that the band was moving towards a different sound, experimenting new musical solutions and developing a more defined personal style that was largely expanding beyond the Mod tag of the early 80's.
These are not simple songs, complex arrangements, rhythm changes, existential lyrics in an overall "dark" atmosphere that binds all the tracks together, make of this album an outstanding piece that back then was pretty much ahead of its time.
The Mod image, at least musically had become too tight for the band, The Underground Arrows had grown up but not so their audience that was still holding tight to the Mod dream.
Three years later in fact, after having laid down a few tracks for their third album the band split up.
Great power and energy made the Underground Arrows a remarkable live act during their entire career and that can be easily felt in these songs!
