about

After the premiere of Goodbye Uncle Rock Opera in 2006 and the release of the album the same year, Rob Falsetti and Ana Vukovojac, the leading force of The Migrators, expected that the project would take off with new shows, reviews, album sales, but that did not happen.

In fact, despite the promotion and international distribution, they obtained only a handful of positive reviews. All the doors, despite the efforts and expectations, were closed.
It was a tough time for The Migrators who had invested years of work into this project with the best intentions and hopes.

Therefore, The Migrators decided to freeze the project for the time being and dedicated themselves to composing a new Rock Opera.

Goodbye Uncle was about the battle between good and evil, a theme they decided to continue deepening by going back to its origins. With new opera, they decided to put the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ into music.

They took the Gospel of Mark and adapted the lyrics without changing them to the music they began composing.

The idea was to put a second Rock Opera on stage, with a theme that would possibly attract the attention of many people, something like a second "Jesus Christ Superstar".
The theme set the need for a change in the music style, so it moved more towards “hard rock”.

In January 2007 the first version of the work was finished, the songs were written, composed and played by Rob and Ana, recorded and mixed in their studio in Rome

"The Way", however, consisted of a series of songs quite eclectic in style. What came out eventually, was almost an experimental album with different musical styles, which in fact, had little to do with Rob and Ana's original idea for the second Rock Opera.

Consequently, they continued working on the songs, and "The Way" gave birth to "The Truth", the second version of the same album, which undoubtedly was taking on a more proper rock opera form compared to the first version.

We are in 2008, the music is homogeneous and no longer sounds like an album of songs in different styles...With the contribution of Gianni Colaiacomo on bass and Massimo Rosari on drums, the songs have been brought to another level.

Version II

Despite the improvement, however, Rob and Ana were still not satisfied with the result and continued working.

It is 2009, the songs of "The Truth" have again been modified, arranged and recorded, with Gianni Colaiacomo on bass and Max Rosari on drums, and mixed in Ana and Rob's studio in Rome.
The fruit of this work is "The Life", the third and the final version of the Rock Opera " The Sory of J.C. “

Whether the last version is better than the first or the second one, at this point, it is hard to tell, but back then, everyone was satisfied with the outcome .

Once the album was mastered, Rob and Ana began circulating it, attracting the interest of Jörn Heitmann, a Berlin based film and video director known for some of Rammstein's videos.

A cooperation was born and the pre-production to stage The Story of J.C. in Berlin took place.Unfortunately and despite a great work done, the project could not be completed in Berlin.

“The story of J.C.” then, evolved in a medium-length music film (2016) and live shows (2018) under the title “Dolomitenfront”, both produced and performed in Italy.

Version III

A note: throughout the 3 versions, in 3 years, only 3 songs remained practically the sameナ

Enjoy the music!
